The Wandering Palate Christmas Table last year in Melbourne

We spent last Christmas in Melbourne and had a great time foraging for food at the Victoria Market; it’s so good to be in a place where the produce is genuine and affordable. Maybe it’s a bit of “the grass is always greener” but I do miss the accessibility to free-range organic poultry and wild game in Australia.Anyway, heres some pictures taken by Greg Van Beek, a real photography nut I might add, who joined us along with his wife and two daughters for Christmas in Melbourne… we had a lot of fun!

A few wines over lunch - all thanks to John and Sandra's Wedding Cellar - some really great Australian wines cruising along with more than a decade in bottle
