World-famous Speakers to Heat Up Singapore at The World Street Food Congress – 2 Day Dialogue

World Street Food Congress organisers, Makansutra, reveals an impressive line-up of influential thinkers, advocates and captains of the F&B industry who will be headlining The World Street Food Dialogue, a 2-day conference and industry event from 3 rd to 4th June 2013. Whilst billed as a food industry and writers conference, this 2-day event would be equally fascinating for anyone interested in street food–I a guess that is all of Singapore!

Alongside the Dialogue, the World Street Food Congress will comprise of The World Street Food Jamboree; a 10-day feasting carnival featuring at least 35 of the best street food masters from around the world; and The World Street Food Awards, a first-of-its-kind in the world to acknowledge and give international recognition to quietly famous street food icons. The World Street Food Congress (WSFC) is the brainchild of KF Seetoh, founder of Makansutra, the organizers of the event. The objective of the WSFC is to create more opportunities for society and the industry by galvanizing the energies and ideas of the

world’s players at the event. It has a 10-day feasting component – the World Street Food Jamboree, a 2-day World Street Food Dialogues component and a World Street Food Awards element. Theevent is powered by the World Street Food Council, a think tank comprising prominent names made up of influential thinkers, advocates and movers of the F&B ecosystem in the world. They will function as thought leaders and vanguards of the industry at the World Street Food Congress.
